Tuesday, May 30th, 2006

Tomorrow is the first day of the summer for us here. (Technically, Flash finished school last week but we were with family all weekend so we were busy.) What that means is this: I don’t have to set my alarm. Yay! I can sleep until the kids wake up which [...]

We recently saw 2 movies (thanks to Netflix) and enjoyed them both.

The first one is Just Like Heaven starring Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo. Mark is trying to get rid of Reese who keeps showing up in his apartment. He thinks she’s a ghost but she turns out to be a coma patient. [...]

Pinwheels bought a new grill today. It’s a charcoal grill with a firebox on the end for smoking. He and my brother-in-law pulled out the instructions and all the pieces. The first thing the instructions tell you to do?

That is just amazing.  Really.

New stuff

Last week my sweet girl, Flash, turned six on Tuesday. I think I’d just gotten used to her being five and now she’s a year older. She is just a marvel to be around. She’s so mature in some ways and immature in other ways, just like anyone I suppose. She’s very self-sufficient. Some days [...]
