Today we were part of a tour group to visit the Waitomo Caves and Rotorua. The caves are famous for the glow worms and Rotorua is home to the Maori tribal people. Our first stop was the caves and due to an unfortunate fire yesterday we got to visit a different set of [...]

A fun weekend

We had an early birthday party for Peanut last weekend. He turns 4 while we’re in New Zealand so we had a bouncy castle and two families over for a fun afternoon. The night before the party we had our family dinner of waffles (chosen by Peanut) and Peanut opened all of his [...]

Order this, get that

If you ordered a calendar at the end of October, wouldn’t you expect it to be for the next year and not the current year? Wouldn’t you?

Well, I did. I admit, I did not pay attention to the year when I ordered it. I’ve never had a problem in the past and [...]
